Some beauty tips for chemo patients

Everyone who knows me will know that I am very particular on my appearance. I go for laser facial to make sure that my skin is clear and I will do anything just to have nice complexion and also to prevent myself from putting on weight.

When I first started chemotherapy, my whole body system went haywired. I started breaking out in acne everywhere due to the hormonal changes inside my body. My face, head, back and chest were having such bad breakouts that nothing seem to work for me. Believe me when I said I spent hundreds of dollars to buy products that people tells me is good for clearing acne outbreak. Not only that, chemotherapy causes my skin to be so dry and due to the medication, my skin around my neck become dark brown as though I never shower and its dirty. I tried applying moisturizer for sensitive skin, dry skin nothing seems to work, I was on the verge of breakdown. Okay okay so drama but I was desperate to make my skin better.

Finally after so many trial and error, I found some products that work for me.

Clearing of acne:
Love my skin by Essentially Oil (Can look for them in fb)
Florence the lady who made this cream using essential oil (all natural, no chemicals) recommended them to me when I was at her pop up store in Novena on 23 November. Due to my skin condition, I need to ask Florence if her products are safe for cancer patients to use. She assured me that it is and its even safe for babies to use. The cream works so well that after applying it on my acne outbreak, it dries up by the third day. Not only that, it also helps for eczema skin too. It helps in the lightening of my skin (remember the darkening of skin around my neck area due to chemotherapy.)
I accidentally used a wrong product to clean my eye makeup when I was undergoing chemo, the product burned the skin around my eyes and it was very red no matter what I do, after I applied Love my skin, it heals after one week.

Gastric pain:
Happy Tummy by Essentially Oil
As I cannot take medications for gastric pain, I tried this oil blend named Happy Tummy and it helped me alot. It can be used for stomach pain too.

Dry skin:
Rose hip oil as a base then ELO gel(a product by Hyflux). These two really helps to hydrates my skin plus there are no chemicals in them.

Shower Gel:
QV (my saviour) hahaha! It just helps with my sensitive skin.

Before you guys start judging me on the products above, I am not so good that people wants to sponsor me, all of the above are purely what I am using which I hope that it can help other cancer patients.
